The Mines Nucleus intends to develop and disseminate the Geological and Mining Engineering course at Instituto Superior Técnico, namely through the promotion of various activities with a view to personal, curricular and professional enrichment of students in that area.

SEG (Society of Exploration Geophysicists) is a society that prepares students and emerging professionals for successful academic and long-term careers in geoscience. They provide programs that can enhance your education, networking and leadership skills.

Our goal, as a Student Chapter is to group like-minded students who share a common interest in geophysics and to actively participate in projects and initiatives that overcome the challenges of geophysics. Our main projects are seminars, field trips and networking events with geoscience professionals.
