This year, the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering at Técnico Lisboa, with the support of the industry, has taken the initiative to award Academic Merit Scholarships to all students who enrolled in the Bachelor's degree in Mining and Energy Resources Engineering (LEME) in the 2024/25 academic year.

The ceremony to award the Recursos+ Scholarships: Annual Tuition Fee Support Scholarship in Mining and Energy Resources Engineering (1st Cycle) 2024/2025, will take place on December 4, 2024, at 2:30 PM, during the XIX Saint Barbara's Day Conference and will be attended by the Honorable Secretary of State for Energy, Professor Maria João Pereira.

The event will be attended by students, professors, non-teaching staff, and representatives of the companies Almina, Beralt Tin & Wolfram Portugal, Fravizel, Julipedra, Mocapor, Orica Mining Services Portugal and Secil Agregados.

This ceremony not only celebrates the academic merit of the students but also strengthens the collaboration between academia and industry, promoting the development of the mineral and energy resources sector in Portugal.
