At the 11th edition of the PhD Open Days, organized by the Técnico Doctoral School, PhD students and Teaching Assistants from DER took part in the Pitch Competition, held on October 28 at the Técnico Innovation Center.

The event, dedicated to promoting innovation, scientific communication, and entrepreneurship, provided a space for sharing ideas among researchers from different fields and stages of their doctoral journey. During the competition, participants were challenged to present their research in a clear, concise, and inspiring way, highlighting the importance of communicating science with impact.

This initiative underscored the key role of effective communication in research and encouraged doctoral students to connect their academic work with real-world challenges and needs, contributing to a more informed, sustainable, and innovative society.
