Visit of Greek Researchers to DER

Between October 20 and 22, DER welcomed two Greek researchers as part of an international mobility programme.
The visitors, Stella Raka, Mineral Resources Engineer, and Eleni Chamilaki, Chemist, are both faculty members and researchers at the School of Mineral Resources Engineering of the Technical University of Crete (TUC), Greece.
The main purpose of the visit was the exchange of specialized knowledge and technical expertise to address the critical challenges of quality, safety, and health in the context of mineral and energy resource extraction and processing.
During their stay, the researchers had the opportunity to explore the DER’s laboratories and ongoing projects, as well as to discuss potential future collaborations between the two institutions.
This initiative reinforces DER’s commitment to international cooperation and the promotion of scientific excellence in the fields of mineral and energy resources.
