The Annual Meeting of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering took place on May 30, 2025, at Técnico’s facilities. The event, which has become a tradition in the DER calendar, brought together faculty members, students, and industry representatives, strengthening the connection between academia and the professional sector.

The morning session was highlighted by presentations from students enrolled in the Doctoral and Master’s Programs, who shared their research projects and recent developments in the fields of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering. These presentations provided insight into the work being carried out within the department and fostered technical-scientific debate among all attendees.

Another highlight of the meeting was the networking session, which gave participants the opportunity to establish contacts with industry professionals, promoting potential future collaborations and reinforcing employability and knowledge transfer.
