On April 11th, the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering (DER) once again brought together former students for another edition of the DER Alumni Dinner.

The event welcomed multiple generations of alumni — from recent graduates to those with long-standing careers across a wide range of fields, from scientific research to the national and international industry. More than just a dinner, it was a special reunion marked by meaningful conversations, shared memories, and the strengthening of the bonds that continue to unite this community.

The evening unfolded in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, celebrating not only the time spent at Técnico but also the ongoing impact that this education has on the professional and personal lives of those who studied here.
