On September 1st, the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering welcomed the new students of the Bachelor’s in Mining and Energy Resources Engineering, the Master’s in Mining Engineering, and the Master’s in Energy Resources Engineering.

The reception session took place at the GEOLab, followed by a welcome gathering at the Geology Laboratory, both located in the Mining Building. The relaxed atmosphere provided opportunities for connection and exchange of experiences between newcomers and the academic community.

The event was attended by the Course Coordinators, faculty members, representatives of NUMIST, and students from different study cycles, reinforcing the spirit of sharing, integration, and welcoming that characterizes the Department.
